Guarantee and Standards
Hayling Window Centre Ltd is one of the South of England's longest established double-glazing companies, taking over from Superior Windows in 1982 and regularly carrying out work throughout the southern Home Counties. Also, over the last two decades, we have had installations in the Midlands, London areas, Wales, Germany, France and Spain, at all times proving to be competitive without deviating from our usual high standards.
Our sales staff will provide all details and prices in writing and we promise that they will not increase for at least a month after being submitted. This provides ample time for you to compare our prices and, equally important, our proven service.
We do not take deposits! Apart from exceptional circumstances (e.g. where the installation involves building work and an interim payment is requested) there is nothing to pay until the work is completed to your satisfaction.
We specialise in the installation of high performance, severe exposure-rated PVC-U windows and doors, fabricated to BS 7412*.
The PVC-U profiles that we use, whether Rehau or Synseal "Shield", are regarded as among the best internationally and specified by local authorities and architects alike, and every frame is fully welded for optimum strength. Galvanised steel reinforcing is introduced in all cases to manufacturing specifications.
Our double-glazed units are manufactured to BS 5713* and beaded internally for increased security.
We are FENSA registered and details are automatically recorded with your local authority upon completion the installation. To conform to Building Regulations introduced in April 2002, the following for replacement frames apply. Glazing conforms to Document L where low-emissivity glass should be used. Safety glass is either toughened or laminated to conform to Document N (including BS6206 Safety Code) as necessary. This glass is Kite marked, also to comply with Building Regulations.
Replacement windows are calculated to conform to Document F to maintain or improve ventilation.
Fire escape access is calculated to conform to Document B. Egress hinges will be used as necessary and window apertures adjusted to suit if possible. (We will also advise customers in ways of improving existing emergency access.)
The locking systems on window and door openings offer the highest security, conforming to the Association of British Insurers requirements. (You may be able to reduce your insurance payments accordingly.)
Hayling Window Centre fitters are fully experienced and have no incentives to rush your work. They can handle most installations although trade specialists may sometimes be required, examples being electrical work and plumbing. We can recommend competitively priced trades persons who can be paid separately if you prefer.
The finished installation is guaranteed for 10 years and underwritten by Quality Assured National Warranties Services Ltd* (a member of the General Insurance Standards Council).
We have our own dedicated Service Engineer and we usually respond to emergencies under guarantee during working hours on the same day of notice. We will give you a "Product Care & Operation Guide" after installation but we also offer a competitive repair and maintenance service.
